BEAR POND TRAILHEAD
31852 Wekiva River Rd., Sorrento 32776
Friends of Seminole State Forest (FSSF) will strive to provide our 2023 Run for the Woods participants with a safe environment to race. Our focus is to minimize all participants’ possible exposure to the virus as much as possible by following these simple guidelines:
All runners and guests assume personal responsibility for adhering to current COVID guidelines.
Runners (single/teams/families) will be distanced 6 feet apart at the start of the race.
Masks/hand sanitizer will be available at registration and all water stations.
STAY HOME if you have any symptoms or have tested positive for COVID-19! We will apply your paid registration to next year’s race, with proof of a positive test.
FSSF and its volunteers will not be held liable for the development of symptoms or testing positive for COVID-19 post-race.
LET'S RUN!
The trails are the same as last year, a 5K, 12K, and half marathon race. If you ran/walked last year, you can compare your times. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome.
There is a family-friendly, interactive nature walk around Bear Pond. There will also be environmental/wildlife educational displays and sponsor presentations.
Runners/walkers are welcome to network post-race while enjoying the awards presentation, local business kiosks, and food/beverages (limited quantities).
